It’s common to have questions about a company before deciding to apply. We want to answer all of your questions so you can make an informed decision as to whether becoming a CDL-A truck driver for Lubenow Companies Inc will be a good fit for you and your family. As the Haul-Around Champion®, we promise professionalism. That includes being straightforward, hard-working, and honest in all things that we do, including how we treat our truck drivers.
Once hired, you will attend our 1-day orientation. You will be paid hourly wages during orientation and will be ready to drive the following day as needed. Check out a list of our current open CDL-A driving jobs below.

At Lubenow Companies Inc, we pay our OTR CDL-A drivers .78 cpm plus a $.02/mile safety bonus. All miles are paid!
Yes! $25/hr (stop off, detention, breakdown pay)
Most drivers can expect 2,500 miles per week or more depending on how they manage their time.

Your home time and run time can be negotiated with dispatch and will depend on residence. Typically you’ll be out 10-14 days / 2 days home.
100% no-touch freight. Most loads are loaded and unloaded for you.
Yes! Just complete our required paperwork prior to having a passenger.
Local drivers are paid hourly for all their on-duty time. This includes driving, loading/unloading (99% no-touch-freight), fueling, etc. Pay is $27/hour with overtime after 45 hours worked.
Local drivers typically work 12 hours per day, depending on the workload. There is no set schedule. Drivers start their day in the mornings, and start times are coordinated by dispatch the night before.
There is seldom weekend work. The available weekend work is typically covered on a volunteer basis.
Local drivers will pick up and deliver anywhere within the state of Wisconsin and into Northern Illinois, typically on the outskirts of Chicago, east of I 294.

Yes to both. This will be approximately 50% each depending on the customer. Dispatch will have return loads planned before you’re empty with your outbound load.
